Jeffrey E. Budoff, MD is a Board Certified Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity surgeon, with a Certificate of Additional Qualification (CAQ) in Hand Surgery. He specializes in the Hand, Wrist, Elbow & Shoulder. Dr. Budoff completed two fellowships, in both Hand Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Budoff was previously an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he taught residents and fellows for nine years.

Dr. Budoff has edited 7 textbooks and part of another, written 47 peer-reviewed papers and authored 23 textbook chapters. He is an expert in arthroscopic and open surgery of the Hand, Wrist, Elbow and Shoulder. Dr. Budoff served as an Associate Master Instructor of shoulder arthroscopy for a national organization, where he taught other practicing orthopedic surgeons the most up-to-date techniques. He was an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery and a Reviewer for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, two of the most prestigious orthopedic journals, where he helped other surgeons prepare their manuscripts for publication. He has lectured locally and nationally on the diagnosis and treatment of upper extremity disorders, and has co-chaired and instructed in multiple national courses for practicing orthopedic surgeons on various upper extremity issues.

Dr. Budoff graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University and with honors from Cornell Medical School. Dr. Budoff spent 9 years teaching medical students, residents and Hand Surgery Fellows at the Baylor College of Medicine, where he was an Associate Professor. He has been in private practice, specializing in the upper extremity, since 2008.
