Dr. House is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician currently active in clinical practice while living with a spinal cord injury for the last 33 years. He is board-certified in Spinal Cord Medicine and in Brain Injury Medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Spinal Cord Injury Medicine at the prestigious Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. His practice has focused for 20 years as a Neuro-Trauma Rehabilitation Medical Director in spinal cord injury and brain injury. He recently served as Medical Director of an academic Spinal Cord Injury Program where he taught residents and medical students clinically and in didactics. He currently holds a position as a Washington State University Medical School Clinical Associate Professor. He is a serial physician inventor who holds numerous medical device patents. He has been a wheelchair-user since college due to a C7 complete spinal cord injury while snow-skiing, which gives him a unique perspective and understanding for the cases he reviews.
