Karina has held teaching positions at several universities, including the University of Arizona, National Autonomous University of Mexico, Azusa Pacific University, and Franklin and Marshall College. Karina was also a research associate at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy. While at the Udall Center, she assisted with the data analysis to evaluate the economic and social impact of the Legal Arizona Workers Act after it had passed.
