Armellino Engineering is an independent consulting firm with a focus in structural engineering for the aerospace industry. We provide expert testimony and advisory services on legal and liability matters concerning aviation investigations, accidents, mechanical failures and disasters. We also assist with patents, patent infringement and intellectual property.

We bring over 35 years of experience to the table and offer a variety of engineering services with a specialty in static and fatigue structural failure on metallic and composite structures, loss mitigation, vibration studies and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). We can assist in airframe analysis, engine failure, landing gear and actuation, stress corrosion, faulty maintenance and the design and critique of virtually any test plan from development to flight certification. We are power users of Catia, Femap and NASTRAN.

Glenn Armellino, founder and licensed Professional Engineer, received his training by working for the biggest names in aviation including Sikorsky, Gulfstream, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, GE Aerospace, ITT Aerospace Systems. Glenn has been in the office with fellow engineers, in the lab with data acquisition specialists and on the shop floor with mechanics. He is passionate about aviation safety and is an expert with FAA/FAR Part 23, 25 and 29 on all fixed and rotary wing aircraft including business jets, small planes. mid-size helicopters and military fighter jets. Few are better suited to offer aviation engineering advice and expertise on related legal matters.

He has written a countless number of stress reports, given presentations to a range of audiences including attorneys, other engineers and senior managers. He truly possesses a unique ability to explain extremely technical concepts in a ‘common language’ understandable by all.
