David has been a licensed practicing insurance producer for 39 years. David knows the standards are different depending on the State, but all states expect an insurance producer to use reasonable care, skill, and diligence when procuring insurance for clients. he is currently teaching two insurance courses and a risk management course at Rio Salado Community College. He has now worked on over 60 court cases and has trial experience. He has been an insurance agency owner for 37 years. His consultant/expert work is split at about 45% Plaintiff and 55% Defense. David has testified in several depositions and at jury trial with a successful outcome. David is a CPCU. In addition, he has been a Certified Insurance Counselor since September of 1992. The Family Agency in which he is a partner has won both community and industry awards. David has reviewed the Arizona State Licensure exams for 18 years. He has taught various insurance courses through The National Alliance since 2002. He has taught several continuing education courses in Arizona. Since 2002 he has taught various business courses collegiately.  David has the professional designation Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resource Management. In the field of HR these are two of the highest professional designations in HR.

Currently has been an adjunct professor at Glendale Community College teaching insurance courses. He has been on the Glendale Community College President’s Advisory Circle since 2004 and was instrumental in starting their current insurance program. David has served and lead several community boards. He is past President for the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona. He has written several articles and enjoys blogging. The rates David charges for consulting and expert witness work is $275 per hour with a minimum of four hours for Depositions and four hours to go to Court.
