Dr. Canion is an emergency medicine expert witness practicing in the state of Texas who works with clients throughout the US. He has provided medical care to over 30,000 patients in his career. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is also recognized by the American Academy of Emergency Medicine for having expertise in pediatric, trauma, neurological, and cardiac resuscitation.

His experience spans from Level 1 Trauma Centers, to Critical Access Hospitals, to freestanding Emergency Departments. He actively maintains medical licenses in both Texas and Louisiana. He has experience in chart review, evaluation of standard of care, and expert witness testimony.
