I am triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Critical Care Medicine and completed a J.D. at Tulane Law School. My diverse background in law and medicine makes me a unique and qualified expert witness in cases related to critical care and pulmonary medicine.
My work has been published in several journals and I have presented case studies at the American Thoracic Society Annual Meeting. I am active in the community and run a mobile free clinic serving uninsured patients. For my work in the hospital, clinic and community I earned the Outstanding Medical Leadership award in 2019. I also directed my hospital’s COVID-19 response team; for that work my team and I received the Community Leadership Award in 2022.
After law school and medical school I completed my internal medicine training in New York. I was elected chief resident out of a class of 28 and served in that role for one year following completion of my internal medicine residency. Following residency, I completed my Pulmonary/
I began my professional career at a hospital in Maryland where I have served as the Director of Critical Care Medicine for over 6 years and lead the daily management of ICU patients. I also see pulmonology consults in the hospital and frequently perform bronchoscopies and endobronchial ultrasound procedures in the OR. In addition, I have a busy private pulmonology practice where I treat patients with a range of disorders from COPD to Asthma to Interstitial and Occupational Lung Disease.
