As detailed in Ms. Coffman’s curriculum vitae, she has been a Registered Nurse since 1989. She has nursing experience in various clinical and administrative settings, including but not limited to orthopedic nursing, medical-surgical nursing, occupational health, long term care, skilled nursing care, corporate compliance officer for a chain of nursing homes, medical billing, assistant director of nursing and director of nursing for a 193-bed acute and long-term rehabilitation center. She has worked as an ADA compliance officer and claims manager for a major government contractor. Her clinical and managerial experience make her uniquely qualified to prepare and evaluate Life Care Plans for catastrophic claims.

Ms. Coffman has extensive deposition and trial experience in both state and federal courts. She has served as the President-Elect and President of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP). She currently serves as the immediate Past-President of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners and is a member of the Executive Board.

She is a certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CNLCP) and a Medicare Set-aside Consultant Certified (MSCC).

Ms. Coffman works with a team of other nurse life care planners, legal nurse consultants, certified medical coders, physicians, economists, and vocational experts, as needed, to create a valid, credible, and reliable life care plan in a timely manner.
