Orthopedic Surgery and Foot & Ankle Surgery
My name is Michael Krosin, MD. I am an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon in a high volume clinical and academic practice. I have been in practice for ten years. Dr. Krosin is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in complex orthopedic fractures, post-traumatic problems such as infection, malunion and nonunion, injuries and deformities of the foot and ankle, knee and hip arthritis, total hip and knee replacements, and revision of total hip and knee replacements.
My clinical focus is orthopedic trauma surgery including complex and revision fracture care, infections and post traumatic deformity. In addition I have a busy elective practice in primary and revision hip and knee replacement as well as elective foot and ankle surgery. I am involved in teaching nationally as well as with my residents and am regarded as an engaging and thoughtful teacher with excellent interpersonal relationships and presence. I have several published articles in peer-reviewed journals, have served on quality committees and ethics committees, and spent several years as Departmental Chair. I am still 100% clinical inclusive of my teaching duties.
I find medico-legal work to be very engaging and have finally found the space for a greater involvement in my practice. I have a commitment to the highest standards and will ensure a timely, thorough and articulate review of your case. I look forward to speaking with you. Email or text is best.
