Dr. Sohi is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado. She received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the University of Colorado and completed her fellowship training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She has been serving as Medical Director of the multidisciplinary Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Clinics and Medical Director of AANEM-Accredited Electrodiagnostic (EMG) Laboratories.
Her primary clinical interests include EMG, spasticity management, diagnosis and clinical management of neuromuscular conditions. She works with a large spectrum of patients who are affected by spinal cord injury, spine and peripheral joint disorders, brain injury, peripheral neuropathy, peripheral nerve injuries and ALS. Her goal is to create an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan to help individuals reach their goals, whether it be recovery from injury, return to work, maintenance of chronic conditions, or maximizing their ability to participate in family and community activities. Given her depth of experience, her plans and recommendations will be fair and defensible for plaintiff or defense attorneys.
She has been involved in teaching and training medical students, residents, and fellows for over 10 years. She has delivered regional and national presentations and has published several academic articles and served as an ad hoc reviewer for accredited medical journals. Her research interests are focused on adverse events of interventional pain management and development of practice parameters and quality improvement for complex medical conditions.
