Captain Botta used his time as a Captain and as an FAA designated line check airman for a Major Airline to evaluate, train and instruct student airline and upgrading pilots. In addition, during his 9 years as a Corporate Jet Captain, Professional Standards Committee Chairman and 10 years as a former Licensed Professional Counselor in St. Louis, MO he used that experience and the same psychological and emotional principles he used in private practice as a Counselor to determine behavioral issues that lead to “cause and effect” in the aviation accident/incident environment.

My experience and background encompasses over thirty two years of practical and professional aviation related experience ranging from mechanic to president. I possess a valid A&P License with a clean FAA record. My most recent airline experience was as the Manager of Outside Airframe Services for a 121 Charter Airline overseeing the heavy maintenance of a fleet of twelve (12) Boeing B727-200 aircraft. I was responsible for the overall planning, budget and program performance for all aircraft maintenance done at outside vendors (such as “C” checks).
