As a Consulting Arborist, David D. Hunter is dedicated to the enhancement of your community and the protection of the environment. His services range from working with residential clients on tree health and safety assessments, to working with camps, clubs, parks, schools, cities, counties and more on a variety of arboricultural concerns. David is also available for remote video conferencing.
David has consulted and been brought in as an Expert Witness for Arboricultural and Forestry issues in Oregon and other parts of the United States, worked with historical sites and trees, and has taught climbing and safety techniques to tree care professionals.
For fun, David has volunteered as a judge for the PNW ISA regional and international tree climbing competitions. David has also presented case studies at conferences and aspects of visual tree assessments.
American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA) # 408, International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist # PN 1068 A, ISA Tree Risk Assessor Qualified Pacific Northwest Chapter ISA Certified Tree Risk Assessor # 0150, Timber and Timberland Appraisal Course, USFS trained in forest fire fighting, root disease and animal damage identification, hazard tree workshop certified since 1978. Wildland fire 25 seasons experience in leadership roles, assessments of tree hazards and tree viability on fires and after fires. Over 40 years of field experiences.
