Dr. Goodenough is a plastic surgeon, with specialization in hand and microsurgery. His practice focuses on hand surgery and reconstructive plastic surgery, including bone, tendon, nerve, and soft tissue reconstruction. He has special interests in microsurgical reconstruction, nerve surgery, limb salvage, burn reconstruction of the hand.

Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, he is in active practice at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. He trained in general and plastic surgery at the University of Texas – Houston, and attended fellowship at the Buncke Clinic in San Fransisco, which focused on complex extremity reconstruction, nerve surgery and microsurgery.
