Anesthesiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Approaching 18 years of routine to highest degree of difficulty anesthesia care spanning: adult general, regional (nerve blocks,) trauma, cardiac, thoracic, major vascular, and acutely ill patient demographics. (No pediatrics or obstetrics.) Both solo, hands on and care-team (CRNA and AA supervision.)
Excellent experience in the Cardio-thoracic space, given my fellowship training which included obtaining both “Testamur” and Diplomate status for TEE (transesophageal echo) certification with the NBE (National Board of Echocardiography.)
Further sub-specialized exposure includes interventional cardiology settings: EP (electrophysiology,) ablation of SVT, VT, Atrial fibrillation, Atrial flutter; Structural Heart – TAVR (trans-catheter aortic valve replacement,) Mitral Clip and Watchman LAAo – Left Atrial Appendage occlusion) device placement.
Nearing 30 cases of expert consultation with 1 High profile case (Paramedics in the Elijah McClain case in Colorado,) 3 trial appearances, 6 depositions, dozens of real time consultation, editing/drafting written statements.
Accepting both plaintiffs and defense cases, nation-wide.
