Experiences:

I retired as a Lieutenant in 2012 after a 30-year career with the Los Angeles Police Department. I worked K9 and our elite Metropolitan Division during my career with the LAPD. As a sergeant, I held assignments in patrol, Vice, Gangs, and Internal Affairs. As a lieutenant, I was a Watch Commander and commanded the following sections. FBI Violent Crime Task Force Los Angeles, CIS (Joint Terrorism Task Force Los Angeles-LAPD), The Special Investigation Section, and Homicide Special Section.
Private Security: For seven years, I was the CEO and owner of a security company in the greater Los Angeles area. The company held some of Southern California’s premier retail and mall contracts.

 

Credentials:

While with the LAPD, I held the following CA POST certificates: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Supervisory, and Management.
