Dr. Kenneth Manges is a Forensic Psychologist and vocational expert who offers consultation and comprehensive evaluations. His analyses have been recognized for their clarity and scientific rigor. He offers reasonably certain opinions about the psychological impact of physical injury or emotional trauma as they affect earning capacity and the impact of loss on future work and quality of life. Well regarded in the litigation arena, he is a trusted and respected authority and offers evaluations that have been consistently upheld in both state and federal courts.

A trusted and experienced Vocational Specialist and Forensic Psychologist with 40+ years’ experience, Dr. Manges has been recognized for his expertise by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and ABC News. His radio show on NPR, Psychologically Speaking, was one of the first of its kind in broadcasting current issues about psychological topics across Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He is sought out both as a keynote speaker, expert witness and litigation consultant concerning emotional trauma and vocational wage loss. He is a past President of the American Board of Vocational Experts. Beyond his role as a consulting and expert witness, he serves as a mentor. He is passionate about his work and adding to the betterment of the psychological and vocational needs of his clients.  Furthermore, Dr. Manges is a proud veteran and served his country in Vietnam.

Current practice includes:

•Vocational-wage loss consultation and psychological testimony for defense and plaintiff as well as testimony in spousal support exams.
•Evaluations to determine the vocational and emotional impact of intellectual, academic, cognitive (TBI) and emotional functioning post injury.
•Forensic exams to determine the effect of trauma (birth injury, physical trauma as well as cognitive difficulties due to a closed head injury and/or emotional consequences due to an injury, accident, loss or trauma).
•Determination of any loss of consortium or services after the death of a significant other.
•Determination of any loss of earning capacity and ability to return to work post injury or the impact of a death on the survivor in wrongful death matters.
•Employment issues due to alleged lack of a person’s fitness for duty, work place violence incident, or coworker threat or harassment.
•Individual counseling for employment loss due to emotional and/or physical/cognitive problems.
•IME exams regarding return to work due to alleged work injuries for state agencies (Ohio Industrial Commission and Bureau of Workers Compensation) as well as self insured employers and claimant attorneys.
•Vocational analysis for social security applications.
•Evaluations and treatment of individuals regarding vocational issues and or emotional distress.
